Tanya joined the London Office as an Associate in 2016. She brokers After The Event Insurance and third party funding for a variety of case-types including negligence, defamation and insolvency.
Tanya is a bilingual law graduate with a rich multicultural background. Upon graduating from the International School of Geneva – where she spent over fifteen years – she moved to London to undertake her Bachelor of Laws.
During her time in London, Tanya has volunteered at an acclaimed law clinic assisting solicitors and barristers with the delivery of legal advice in varying areas of the law. Following the successful completion of her LL.B, she moved to New York to undertake an internship at a litigation boutique firm in Manhattan. Here, she worked on an array of cases involving antitrust, fraud, and intellectual property law.
Tanya maintains a particular interest in human rights law, and has regularly volunteered for and attended various humanitarian events; these include conferences at the United Nations, fundraising on behalf of non-profit organisations, on-site humanitarian relief and performances at benefit recitals. This naturally complemented her choice of an International Human Rights elective during her time at University, where she produced an outstanding comparative research paper assessing current international human rights regimes.
