An introduction to a new fast track platform enabling solicitors to apply for ATE insurance on behalf of their clients where the total coverage for adverse costs and own disbursements amounts to £250k or less. The service involves a bespoke search of market, including multiple A-rated insurers who specialise in lower value claims but with the key difference being that it provides indications of terms within 1 working day. The system provides for a short form online application process in order to access multiple insurers, cutting down the time and energy required from solicitors to determine whether the ATE insurance is viable for the case. Accelerate provides the easiest way for solicitors to test the market on smaller cases with tighter economics.

This episodes explains the reason behind the introduction of this new, market first, platform and how it will benefit solicitors and the market generally.

Presented by Patrick Webber, Robert Warner and Matthew Amey.
