Insolvencies in the construction industry have been on the increase for some years, even more so now due to COVID-19 but insolvent companies have faced difficulties enforcing adjudication decisions.

A Supreme Court decision in Bresco v Lonsdale means that those insolvent companies should now fare better when seeking to rely on adjudication decision.
